Lisa Sheldon
Lisa Sheldon’s debut album Lost and Found, coming out in June, shows her gift for discovering something new in the familiar. She writes about the “wild ride’ of life with keen insight and playful humor, serving up truth with the wry wink of the eye. Her warm sound is always honest and compelling and her guitar skills are a delight. Lisa Sheldon will be joined by Richard Brech (Natural Born Fools) on percussion.
Rick Drost
Songwriter Rick Drost writes and sings songs with depth and heart, songs worth re-listening to, as they convey a long love of classical music, natural wonders and poetry. His writing took early inspiration from Joni Mitchell and Leonard Cohen; his recent influences include Vance Gilbert and David Wilcox. Rick's CD "Turning the World", which a reviewer called “a true folk album with a universal style”, charted on the Folk DJ list in its first month and continues to garner airplay from across America to New Zealand. Originally from Western New York, Rick travels from Cambridge, MA to sing at coffeehouses, house concerts, small festivals and Folk Alliance events all around the country.
